Current status: March 17

The following is an attempt to provide a rough overview of the expected barriers:

Paths:
There are no steps and a paved path from the Fangschleuse train station to the bus stop, then forest paths. Access from the road is via an approx. 1 m wide bypass around a barrier. One main path in the camp can be rolled on, the ground is soft, mossy with bumps up to 20 cm deep and muddy in heavy rain.

Toilets:
There is one ground-level toilet with a small step, approx. 10 cm. The toilets have no support structure. Water dispenser are generally only with rotary tap.

At night:
As soon as it is dark, there is hardly any lighting. We use red light (headlamps). There is a tree house on which people and wheelchairs can be pulled up. There are tents on the ground. It’s also quite cold at night, but we have hot water bottles.

Quiet places:
If you need a quiet, distraction-free place, other people will understand and try to give you the space and time to do so. Feel free to ask friends or allies to go for a walk in the woods. There is a chill space and an awareness space. It is generally noisy in the forest during the day, as there is construction going on. Concerts often take place in the forest in the evenings.

Allergies / intolerances:
We are located in a forest with many pine trees and smaller deciduous trees. If you cannot tolerate certain foods, please let the people cooking know or write it on the allergy/intolerance list. We will do our best to pay attention to this. Unfortunately, it is impossible to avoid traces. If you want to make sure that there is suitable food in the forest, please ask using the contact details above.

Climbing / fear of heights:
If you can’t climb yet, you can learn on site! But you can also do all sorts of things without being able or wanting to climb! There are sleeping areas and places to chill out on the floor.

Further information:
Plenary sessions are held in German spoken language (whispered translation into English spoken language is possible). Especially now with regard to a potential eviction, there is sometimes pressure to perform in the camp, which we try to prevent as much as possible.
