While a forest is being occupied here, other former occupations are still dealing with court cases and fines. Donations and support are still needed there too.
Overview over the forest occupations : https://wald-statt-asphalt.net/
Heibo
The Heibo, a forest occupation to protect the forest moors and against gravel mining in Würschnitz near Dresden, was cleared a year ago. Here, too, there are already several legal proceedings against squatters and the Bautzen district office went even higher with fines totaling over €8,000.

Fecher
The Fecher, a forest occupation against the expansion of the A66/A661 motorway through the Riedwaldtunnel, was cleared a year ago.
Here in the banking metropolis of Frankfurt a.M., the endangered longhorn beetle continues to block the remaining deforestation, while the first court cases are running against 16 human squatters.
The first sentence for one person is 1500€ eviction costs, 1 year probation and 300€ fine.

Involuntary fire brigade
The “involuntary fire brigade” blocked the Jänschwalde brown coal power plant in Lausitz in autumn 2022, so that several blocks had to be shut down. In addition to CO2 emissions, LEAG’s water extraction, reduction and contamination is also a huge problem.
After the blockade, around 20 activists are faced with impending prison sentences and enormous legal costs.
